Camper's Omelette

Valentine’s day isn’t always about a romantic dinner… sometimes waking up to a warm delicious breakfast with your significant other says “I love you” more than some flowers ever could. Here is one of Pretoria Caravans & Outdoor's favorite recipes for easy omelettes that you can make anywhere and spoil that special someone this Valentine’s weekend.
What you’ll need:
• 2 to 3 eggs per person
• Tomatoes
• Peppers
• Mushrooms
• Parsley
• Ham/Bacon (even meat from the braai!)
• Salt
• Pepper
• A zip seal bag per person
• Coloured clothes pegs
What to do:
Crack the eggs into a bowl, add salt & pepper, scramble and scoop into the zip seal bag. Add your choice of fillings (ham, bacon, tomatoes, etc) into the zip seal bag close and shake well. Put a ¾ full pot on the fire (or stove) and bring the water to boil. Add the zip seal bags into the boiling water and secure them to the side of the pot with the coloured clothes pegs (use different coloured pegs to keep track of each person’s choice of fillings). Once cooked carefully slide the omelette onto your plate and enjoy!
